2. Whirlpool and AMS:
   • For ranges, wall ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers and dryers, please check the rim on the inside of the unit.
   • For cooktops, please see the underside of the unit.
   • Refrigerators display the number on the wall inside of the unit.
3. LG:
   • For ranges, the number is typically located behind the drawer on the left side. If it isn’t there, try checking the back of the control panel on the right side.
   • For wall ovens, the serial number can be found on the underside of the control panel.
   • Cooktops have the number in a few possible locations: the bottom panel, under the counter or the underside of the unit.
   • For microwaves, please see the cabinet behind the door.
   • Dishwashers (when opened) display their serial number on the right side of the door.
   • For refrigerators, see the walls inside.
   • With front-load washers, look for the silver label on the front panel behind the door. Top-load washers have the number on a silver label on the upper backside of the machine.
   • Dryers have a silver label on the front panel behind the door. You can find it by opening the door and looking on the part of the panel around the opening to the drum (it’s usually at the top).
